End of Season
Summary
December 2010
2010 has been a tough but
very enjoyable year for all at Team Avago. Once again we
have our highs and our lows but on the whole as a team we
have again moved forward and have enjoyed some success.
In Senior Max Jack Harding
and Matt Nicholson have been consistently fast at SYKC
meetings and could have won many more races but for some
bad luck. They have also continued their steep learning
curve by gaining experience at other tracks such as PF
international, Three Sisters and Whilton Mill. Jack
finished the season particularly well with victory at the
November Wombwell meeting and a strong 4th place finish at
Three Sisters, with Matt not far behind in a very
creditable 6th place.
Our 2 Junior Max drivers
have also continued to learn and improve. Louis Bradley
has been a revelation since joining the team. His
speed has never been in doubt and proved that by winning
his first heat with the team and then went on to win his
first A Final. But for an unfortunate collision in the
November meeting Louis could quite easily have been SYKC
Junior Champion this year, instead it looks as though
he'll have to settle for second. Taniel Durman has, as
always, improved every time he sat in the kart this year.
Although exams have meant limited opportunities for him.
He has though set personal bests and was unlucky not to
win his first heat after leading for a number of
laps,
We are currently finalising
our calendar for next year and an announcement will be
made on here shortly.
